Shipping & Delivery Policy
Where we deliver
Cakezy hand-delivers across Kothamangalam and the surrounding area, up to roughly 30 km. This includes Kothamangalam town, M.A. College, Vazhakulam, Muvattupuzha, Odakkali, Kuruppampady, Koovappady, Vengoor, Perumbavoor, Arakuzha, Piravom, Allapra, Kalady, Malayattoor, Thodupuzha and Kolenchery.
You can check your PIN code on our home page before ordering. If your area is not covered, message us on WhatsApp — we can sometimes arrange a special run.
Delivery charges
Delivery is charged by distance zone and order value, and is shown at checkout before you pay:
- Kothamangalam Core (0–8 km): ₹49, or ₹29 on orders over ₹999. Free over ₹1,500.
- Near Towns (8–15 km): ₹99, or ₹59 on orders over ₹1,499. Free over ₹2,199.
- Outer Towns (15–22 km): ₹149, or ₹99 on orders over ₹1,999. Free over ₹2,999.
- Extended Area (22–30 km): ₹199, or ₹149 on orders over ₹2,499. Free over ₹3,799.
How much notice we need
Every cake is baked fresh to order. We need a minimum of 24 hours' notice before your chosen delivery time. Multi-tier, wedding and fully custom cakes may need longer — we will tell you when you enquire.
Delivery times
You choose a date and a time window when you order:
- Morning — 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Afternoon — 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Evening — 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
All times are India Standard Time (IST), because delivery happens in Kerala — including when you are ordering from abroad. We aim to arrive within your chosen window and will call the recipient before arriving.
If we cannot deliver
Please make sure the delivery address and recipient phone number are correct, and that someone is available during the window you chose. If nobody is reachable, our rider will wait a short time and then contact you. A repeat delivery attempt may incur a further delivery charge.
In rare cases — extreme weather, floods, road closures or local restrictions — delivery may be delayed. We will contact you as soon as we know.
